What is very interesting is the parallel between how Hezbollah was established to fight a proxy war against Israel when Syria realized it could not win a conventional war against Israel and what Pakistan does in Kashmir and to some extent in Afghanistan.

hezbollah or their sunni equivalent hamas are the template that pakistan tried to model LeT, hizbul mujahadeen, taliban etc to fight proxy wars in their sandbox. 

wonder what will bring hez to it's taliban-like reckoning..maybe if they grow desperate enough and succeed in some spectacular assault on israel
