The cheap knock-off shoes and sunglasses spammers of CH always come out and reply immediately to posts by Sulekha News. They don't respond to posts by actual users of the forum. Any explanation for this selective targeting? Are the spammers bots that latched on to Sulekha News as the highest-volume poster on the board (and assumed therefore to be the most respected or something?) Any ideas?

You cannot reach forums unless you know it exists. The newshopper links show up on the "current Affairs" forum tab.

Maybe you can post on sulekha newshopper by email. If you notice sometimes the actual news item is a few days old.

Yeah, my impression is that Sulekha News is always a few days stale. That is why I chuckled at QB's attempts to increase her "general knowledge" by reading Sulekha News!

The forum from newshopper page is actually workable right now. Dunno if it will withstand the tags onslaught. However if someone screws that page up, they will fix the problems.

Ok. It has a very easy to reply interface that worked from my phone. They must have an automated program to reply to various news items.

Ahha. You are probably right. In that forum, they have a one-textbox reply interface. As opposed to Forums where there are two boxes...

they do have a link to "forums" in "sitemap" in the sulekha home page.
