India in qtr finals

It is expected. It was easier than expected. Wi tested them for a while. They are likely to lead the pool. That means they could face England in qtr finals.

Currently, Ireland is holding the 4th position in our group with two matches to play (vs India and vs Pakistan). If they win one of those matches they will make it to the QF.

Not sure if ireland can win either one. but if they play in newzealand where the ball swings more and conditions are very similar to ireland, they may have a chance.

England would like to play india as they had more success against India than Pak or SA. If they play in newzealand, it will be a low to medium scoring game with both sides having a chance. The current line up indicates a possible India australia semi. India probably would prefer playing it in newzealand. The swing could give indian bowling some chance against marauding australian batting.

India is playing them in NZ. Grounds in NZ are smaller, if Ireland get to chase (as their bolwing is weak) they will have a better chance of winning. About QF, if India remains at #1 in their group they will be playing at SCG.

There is a chance that India might face SL in QF, as NZ might rest their key players against BD (and lose) since they're locked in at #1 seed.
