Tamil Fishermen and SL Empty Tamil Fishermen and SL

Read 2 reports that Tamil Fishermen are affecting the livelihood of Northern Srilankan fishermen (that is Ealamites or SL Tamilians). A delegation of the Tamil National Alliance - the main opposition will be taking up the issue with the visiting PM Modi.

My question is we hear about Tamilian fishermen being arrested by the Lankans on a weekly basis. How come we dont hear about arrest of any Northern Srilankan fishermen? Sri lankan fishermen don't fish or they all strictly follow international laws ?

Sri Lanka priohibits Tamil Eeelam fishermen to go beyond a short distance for security reasons.

Sinhala fishermen are settled in  choice fishing areas in the North and East.

Several months ago (year or more) Sinhala fishermen attacked TN fiushermen with petrol bombs as Sri Lankan Navy ships were at watching distance. Are they fishermen or naval personnel?

you are stating under your great assumption that all tamils and ealmites are holy and honest and all sinhalese and naarthies are evil liars.. cut that out. simple fact - there is a stink somewhere.

one thing is true - there is power politics going on in SL - Sirisena has said he would down size the president and revert to parliament style democracy and the president is upset at losing power. And, SL may play the china card unless the 56-chester threatens the SL to behave or else he would split SL.
