This was the talk of the day in all sports talk shows. WaPo, went overboard with title dubbed as "Beginning of the end for the NFL". Not sure of the implications of these retirements for the long-term future of the sport & NFL probably not much. Apparently, Borland suffered two concussions, none in the NFL though, one occurred while playing soccer. Per experts, he had a great future ahead of him but it is a wise decision, if he is not up for it anymore; wonder his two colleagues retirement had any influence on his decision.
