Why is he so worried? ODI have good following and people are fine with it. Says he is injured but cannot keep quiet. Mumbaikars will do anything to keep their records. Huh?

which record are you talking about? 200? that will get broken very soon. gayle still plays ODIs, doesn't he? he can score 200 without breaking a sweat.

Oh really? If Gayle ever plays for WI and then if he does not lose his cool before he gets to 150 we can talk about it.

BTW his suggestion was rejected by ICC. This God$kar is going down the drain and he still wants to show his "worth." He now thinks he is a Bradman, forgetting that he is a BrandName.

TAZ - the name itself is a hyperbole - what's the difference b/w a regular zero and "the absolute" zero. Smile

About $kar and his - I actually like the 2 teams playing 2-innings of 25 overs each as it negates the whole toss-wins-matches crap.
And his suggestion of having bowlers be allowed to bowl 12 overs instead of 10 will help batsmen-heavy teams like India keep say, just 3 specialist bowlers in the team (and getting the rest 14 overs bowled by jadeja, raina, y. singh, kohli, sania...)

Plus - this also helps in lengthening the career of his param bhakt - bhajji - who's now a batsman, dancer and professional interview giver.

Physics pata hai? Zero = 0. Absolute Zero (param shoonya) = -273. See? There is a LOT of difference.

LOL about param bhakt - he is like me. Absolute stuff. I am glad his advice was rejected. It plain sucked.

Now the turn of Saamiyaar to speak!

Physics nahin pata - Min Entropy Man Smile

I'm not done yet : BTW saar is busy with his speeches on the UN Floor this morning...

Forget about $kar - it's not the messenger - let's not let that cloud our judgement here.

Here's my $0.02 (which I'm sure your fiscally responsible self will appreciate) :

ODIs are getting boring as viewing (youngistan) public's micro-attention spans are getting even smaller. This suggestion essentialy is a makeover of the ODIs into a T20 double-header.

Better than 40over ODI suggestion floated by the Aussies(?), no?

No, no you are not $kar stuff. Me and Saamiyar are owners of that $kar bashing. Please make way for Saamiyar and do a saShTAng Namaskar (strictly outside the Artha Mandap, as the USA hindu temples say) when he comes in. Seems he is seriously busy preparing for his GED this morning :-[

hahaha, that is true. he can use his new found status to save some taxes. when he does all of those things, he is not a cricketer just like tendulkar is an actor while shooting for ads.

What's with all these guys opening restaurants - bhaktopia, eh?!

After Tendulkar's (?), we have ZK's by Zaheer Khan, Veero by Sehwag, Saurav's Food Pavilion by late-latif Ganguly - heck even Sreesanth & Uthappa have a restaurant!

They are telling BCCI - we are no good for your payments, we are good for eating and fat bellies. Please cut us out of central contracts. But BCCI has been deaf to their signals despite having a "CI" in their name (CI = Cochlear implant)!

Absolute Zero can refer to a perfect vacuum as well.

WTF to do? Should be the question. My suggestion, wait for his unscalable 100 centuries! Hope it comes against zimbabwe in Bombay when he will score whirwind 100 in 185 balls!! (and hang his bat/shoes!)
