i like vilayat very much, but prefer the younger bro. but the darbari you posted is fantastic. never listened to a darbari by vilayat before.

my favorite vocal version of darbari:



darbari requires a serious, slow, meditative treatment. so not fond of the fast paced carnatic compositions in darbari.
