I agree..wonder why she didn't marry a tata/birla when she had the opportunity. The US of the A is great for middle-class people trying to get out of the rut, but for a top celebrity like her, I think it was a poor decision. In India, she was a goddess...why the hell she gave that up is beyond me.

Rajshree was a top celebrity and a goddess?

Her time in Bollywood was up when she had left it. It wouldn't have made much of a difference either way.

Ok. I am familiar with her work. But she was not a major celebrity in her time or later.

Manjula was introduced to Film industry by none other than MGR. She acted in spectacular hits (with MGR and Shobhan Babu). Was no.1 for a short period of time. Wikipedia is saying she married Tamil politician Vijaykumar and is still active in south Indian movie field. I stand corrected.




I must be thinking of another filmstar.
