Another sore point is the demonisation of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), particularly in the wake of detention of our tanker M T Desh Shanti in 2013. Probanly taking the cue from External Affairs Ministry, the Indian media painted IRGC as a rogue organization beyond the control of civilian authorities - a la ISI

In this globalized word no country can operate on the concept of "either with me or against me" This is no longer a bipolar world. In this multipolar world - US/Europe/Russia/China/SE Asia/BRICS - any relationship between two country depends on the "issue" of interest. Iran-Israel fight is koranic and historic, whereas Iran-Pakistan rivalry is modern, economic and religious animosity. Iran cannot afford to antagonize India with Pakistan and Arab Countries surrounding it. Iran knows India will never launch an attack on Iran (with or without Israel), whereas Pakistan can easily take sides in an Iran-Arab war.
