was sitting on my stairs
sipping my ginger-elaichi tea
phone in another hand
scrolling up my facebook
stopped on a picture with some quote
a loving couple walking together
wearing tan and brown long winter coats
gloved hands, hand in hand
on a clear, windy, winter day
her long hair covering part of her face
him looking down at her, coffee in his hand
some stirring happened within
I am ready for the fall season
