I am neither glad nor sad that gupta is in jail; but he was foolish to not be more circumspect in his business dealings. he's scheduled to be released from jail around march, 2016.

in jail, he was punished twice for violating minor rules.

the hindustan times reporter doesn't write well; he's some kind of northindian.

He will now donate a couple 100 million to Harvard and another 100 mil to christian charity

and become a leading light yet again.

This reminds of some discussion about the newspaper 'The Hindu'. 'The Hindu' was accused of using unusual or not so common words that can be used. Can you explain why you chose 'circumspect' instead of 'more careful' or any other common word? 

Regarding RK, he just did not have good friends nor a good advisor?

circumspect is neither unusual nor less common. it is quite common and less wordy than "more careful". circumspect also carries the notion of "thought before action" which a simple careful does not.
