I know...the local muslim vote bank politics and the big pending Bihar/UP elections and not to mention Rajya Sabha blackmail by Cong (iSlam) are tying up his hands.

But, the Paki cross-border hits are indeed being retaliated harder to the extent that Pakis are complaining all over the world that India is responding "excessively". Even this is a markedly more positive response than the Cong(iSlam) over the past 5 decades. This Double retaliation should be ratcheted up to 10 time severity soon.

If you are saying that the muslim vote bank is against India taking a very hard stance against Pakistan, can you back it up with some links or examples? Just curious.

WaPo has always been full of bombast and opinions and very little news. What kind of "click-baitey" title is this from our gifted Indian journalist? I'm unable to see the depth of this divide, all i see is a fine line of lights between the two countries.
The WSJ, Bb, and the FT are far better at delivering news.
