patelboy, what you want to say may make more sense if you say it in gujarati. in other words, do yourself a favour and stop using english.

SRK forgets (or stupid enough not to realize it) that it is HIS own religion that thinks it is superior to all other religions. It is THIS attitude that is causing intolerance to iSlam WORLD-WIDE.

He claimed that he got "first mark" in electronics in India when he studied electronics in institute. He said he studied only diodes and triodes in the 80s and not computer chips that came later. THIS he was saying to the hindu boy Pichai in a public Desi forum.

Go figure.

The very fact that this guy is able to say what he said PROVES that there is tolerance. The very fact that he built a personal ramp in front of his house on BMC property swallowing half the road shows there is just TOO MUCH tolerance for his religion. The fact that he refused to remove it even after the high court ordered him to demolish his "ramp" shows there is just WAY TOO MUCH tolerance for his and his religion's intolerance towards society.

P.S. This is also evidence that past actions are used to test one's credibility..Razz

PS.2: Funny that the NYT failed to mention how these hundreds of millions of hindu extremists have not done any damage to anything in the US or Europe - or heck, anywhere, whereas Ahmed the Clock Muhammad was suspended in the middle of the most "tolerant" society.

shah rukh khan's statement is really a side show. focus on the central message of the times opinion piece. it's not good for india if foreign investment is going to dry up because india is increasingly being viewed as a risky place to do business.  hopefully economic pressures will accomplish what writers and artistes have been unable to do -- get modi to take a firm stance against communalism and violence.  money always talks.

no MNC is going to want to put money in a place which is the hindu equivalent of pakistan with all its problems.

It is *ALL* side show, IMHO.

To create a perception.

None want to see the reality on the ground.

Media MUST, as they are the only agents to create the perception.

They can not create it politically.

If I were to google, a Dadri happens EVERY day in INDIA, for the last 50 years.

Multiple rapes happen in India EVERY day for the last 50 years. Not a single day missed!

To fool self, to create any political orientation is nothing but manipulation of perception.

Media is to blame, and SC must regulate media for what perceptions it creates.

Correct. Anti-Indian criminals like SRK have no business talking about intolerance. NRN and Kiran Mazumder are just sickular tax evaders looking for cheap publicity. NYT is a liberal rag that nobody reads. Who cares what they say? India is the most to!erant country. The very fact that all these people can say all this without getting their brains bashed in, is proof of our tolerance. Anyone who disagrees can go live in Pakistan!

You SERIOUSLY believe that what is going on is HINDU equivalent of Pakistan ? Then in that case join the crowd. If MNCs are stupid enough to think like that such corporations are unreliable and manipulative.

How many protests did you see in Pakistan against the Taliban over the last 15 years ? How many bombs did the RSS/BJP explode in India, and elsewhere...

So hindus asserting and protesting love jihad and whatever is in their interest is Talibanism? Preventing Hindus from expressing their belief is tolerance?

In that case, it is high time to declare India as a hindu state outright - as Corrupt White mata followers will accuse BJP anyway. MNC - who dont mind doing business in Saudi and lining up in Iran will gladly do business with a Hindu republic of Bharath.

>>>In an open society, the media cannot really be regulated  and in the long run, that is what keeps politicians on their toes. I do agree with you however that the sudden discovery of social problems and protests and returned awards makes you wonder about the real intent. The Modi administration does need to come down on the wing-nuts, but I don't see that stopping his opponents. As to whether he will deliver on the economic front, it will be a couple of years before we find out. That is not a given, but the 'elites' want to derail his government today. This is not as implausible as it may seem. If there is a steady drum-beat of how India is melting at its core and turning into Syria/Pakistan/ insert basket-case of your choice and the BJP is really KKK in brown skin your average investor is going to beat a quick retreat. The old gang will be back (read:dynasty rule) as will the "good old days" of economic malaise. The common man will come out the certain loser under that scenario, but hey, at least Rahul Gandhi will have a job.

If at all the Corrupt Commie CONmen retake power in 2019 (or sooner) through smokescreen like this, It will not have any credibility to call for a truce and peace. The BJP with its emboldened hindu cadre will be out in the street that Congress-Commies will never be able to control.

This could result in a Bangladeshi style Street-Democracy (not the Pakistani style).

So you agree that the protests against rising intolerance in India is the one that that still distinguishes us from Pakistan. Then why do you and fellow chaddis keep targeting protesters for personal attacks?

Doesn't that imply you actually want India to become Pakistan? Well, there was never a doubt of that intent in your case, Upps Aunty. But somehow I was hoping other chaddis were not as bad as you in your hatred for India.

this is the key. you can't at once say that the contrast between india and pak is the freedom to protest and at the same time ask for protesters to STFU.

Asking the protesters to STFU is ALSO part of the freedom. Beheading the protesters to Shut them up is NOT.

Hope the "Anti-hindu" secularists understand the distinction.
