Modi to now pay a surprise visit to India

After paying a surprise visit to Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif, India's offshore PM Narendra Modi is now set to surprise his own countrymen by paying a visit to the country soon.

After Pakistan, Modi now intends to catch his ministers, Indian media and common man off guard by suddenly showing up in India.

"Bullsh**! There is no dearth of countries left for Modi ji to visit. He still has Vatican city, Antarctica and few islands in Pacific Ocean to cover," said a source from PMO, when asked if Modi was coming to India because he is falling short of countries to visit.

"It's been long since Modi ji has breathed Indian air. By coming to India on a surprise visit, he is once again reiterating how much he values ties with India and how important relations with India are to him," the source added.

Modi will reportedly land in Delhi for a stopover, have a chat over tea with Anupam Kher (acting Indian PM in his absence) and go back to the destination where he was originally headed.

To increase the intensity of the surprise, Modi is contemplating having a rather prolonged stopover of 1-2 days before he flies back to some overseas destination again.

"Modi may even sign a deal or two with himself," his close aides revealed.

However, Indians feel Modi is trying too hard to surprise them.

"Don't think he needs to surprise us by such antics. These days whenever we see him in India, we are as it is very surprised," said a lady from 10 Janpath.
