..Vemula is a pseudo jehadi and was expelled by a University committee headed by a Dalit. He is another one of those who committed suicide among many youngsters who commit on a daily basis.

Dalit or not, he was just another Univ student who committed suicide. If anything, he broke the law by committing suicide - per IPC. he might have committed a fraud on his Dalitism. Suddenly the political parties and Netas have gone underground when his Dalitism is questioned.

He was a depressed soul. That's all.

This is the age of internet and news travels fast for excitement of Daruwalas of the world.

As kid, I remember National Hobby folks would take History, Sociology for their BA, then MA, then PhD while pursuing to get into Civil Services, while also taking Bank Exams and other Govt. position tests.

When they were seen at cigarette, tea-shop joints, their parents continued to remind friends/relatives that son is pursuing further studies. Some ended up in University politics, working with local goons in construction business (read mafia) so parents can find suitable wife.

There are many, many examples of those perpetually-in-college folks.
