... my son got this gmat question. please help him by providing the correct answer!

sentence: swapna's wife divorced him for his insouciance.

1) swapna, his wife, divorced him for insouciance;
2) swapna divorced his insouciance wife;
3) swapna's wife divorced her husband for he were a jackass.  

HELP!
