Outrage and anger is the exclusive domain of the chaddis and bhakts. They got outraged over leftists in JNU raising azadi slogans. They got outraged over Dalits students eating beef in Hyderabad. They got outraged over sickular so-so's blaming them for Rohit Vemula's suicide. They got outraged over an actor's wife who was uncomfortable with the rising intolerance. They got outraged over some folks not wanting to chant Bharat mata ki jai when asked to..and so on.

In this case, the easily-outraged-brigade doesn't see too much benefit in getting outraged. Corruption and shoddy public works are endemic to all parts of India. The anti-corruption platform is anyway owned by AAP. So it's not going to excite the saffron vote banks. Moreover, showing too much outrage over this tragedy in a Trinamool-ruled state may raise questions about similar shoddiness in other BJP-ruled states as well. Too much of a can of worms.
