Sorry, it's a bit delayed. I have included two visual questions as well and want to do more of that going forward. The usual rules apply.

1. Le Verrier predicted the existence of this and it is the first of its kind to be discovered by mathematical predictions rather than by empirical observations. The Great Dark Spot is one of its features. It is also features in HG Well's short story The Star in which it is destroyed in collision with another object.

2. This Viking ruled as the King of Denmark for some years and as the King of Norway for some years. The runic inscriptions 'Jelling Stones" were erected by him in honour of his parents. A certain wireless technology is named after him and its logo consists of the Nordic runes of his initials. What technology is this and who was the king?

3. In his house in Jamaica, he used to write a thousand words in the morning, take a cocktail break, have a detailed lunch, go snorkeling/diving, write another thousand words in the afternoon, followed by drinks and company of glamorous women. Identify the writer who led this lifestyle.

4. It is the deepest river in the world and is the only river to have two capital cities on its opposite banks, within sight of each other. Name the river and the capital cities.

5. This athlete was unbeaten for 122 races between 1977 and 1987. During this period, he set the world record in his event twice. He was eventually beaten after 9 years, 9 months and 9 days.

6. Norrmalmstorg robbery was a bank robbery that took place in1973 in Sweden. It was the first criminal event televised live in Sweden. A certain psychological phenomenon owes its origin to this event. What is that?

7. Botulism is a rare but severe form of food poisoning that is often originated from canned food. The illness is named after the Latin word of a commonly eaten food item. What food item is that?

8. If Johann Georg Elser, a factory worker, has succeeded in his assassination attempt, the 20th century history could have been completely different. Who did Elser try to assassinate on 8 Nov, 1939?

9. Bird A was called _________ and its name was changed because of caste references. Bird B is still called _________ and there are calls to change its name as well. Identify A and B.
