So it is like India except the magnitude and currency is different. Like all MLA/MP/Minister posts are for sale(bribe) for the highest donor (bidder)?

Yes, politics is the same everywhere. But Obummer is the false messiah who promised one thing and did the total opposite of it. The dope and change peddler still has his sheeple under a spell.

Silvermani, do you consider it a problem when the president appoints donors to government positions? Is that pay-to-play?

I have news for you!

https://www.politico.com/story/2016/12/donald-trump-donors-rewards-232974

Donors also represent 39 percent of the 119 people Trump reportedly considered for high-level government posts, and 38 percent of those he eventually picked, according to the analysis, which counted candidates named by the transition and in news reports.

Trump has stocked his Cabinet with six top donors — far more than any recent White House.

It was a problem that Obama nominated five donors to government jobs. Trump took that made it much more severe, with almost 40% of nominees being donors! Why are you blind to this?

https://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/think-obama-administration-wasnt-corrupt-think-again/               Obummer acted to regulate certain industries in such a way that the regulations lowered the value of some of the companies, wrote Katelyn Caralle of the Washington Examiner. These actions let two family friends to profit handsomely on deals through their own investment firm.
Here's how it worked: Obama buddies Marty Nesbitt and Harreld Kirkpatrick III formed a private equity investment firm called Vistria, right around the time Obama was re-elected in 2012.
Nothing wrong with that, except, as Schweizer notes in his book, "A curious pattern began to emerge. Obama and his administration would attack industries with government power, which led to substantially lower valuations for these companies. Nesbitt and Vistria, or others close to Obama, could then acquire those assets for pennies on the dollar."

As an example, Schweizer cites the case of for-profit higher education schools like University of Phoenix, ITT Technical Institute, and DeVry University. In 2013, Obama blamed the schools for taking advantage of students by saddling them with massive amounts of student debt, ruining their credit and making a profit on it. He ordered the Federal Trade Commission to go after them.
In the case of the University of Phoenix, its parent Apollo Education Group was suspended after a Federal Trade Commission investigation in 2015. The following year, three companies, including Vistria, swooped in to buy what remained of Apollo at a price 90% below its share price before the investigation.
As Vistria's education investment portfolio bulged, a number of Obama Education Department officials, including Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, ended up taking high-level jobs with Vistria."

Ah, is taking executive actions that benefit the president's friends the real problem, then, Silvermani?

What do you then think of the president directly benefiting from his own executive actions? Like signing a tax bill that directly benefits his own business at the expense of taxpayers?

Or, is the issue that bothers you the fraud perpetrated by for-profit "universities?" If yes, look no further than Trump University. The Trump administration has shuttered an investigation into such fraud.

Based on your past actions, I am confident you have no problem at all with corruption, as long as it is committed by people you like. You don't have a leg to stand on in this matter until you acknowledge the massive corruption occurring in front of us.

Applies to you and your ilk 100%. So get off the moral high horse and shaking in self righteous outrage. The tax cuts benefited the public at large, not just President Trump's buddies. Whatever happened with the university was not during Presidency.
