"You can see it on the shirts, buttons, posters and ball caps such as the one being worn here by Trump speaking at a recent rally . . . But can it happen? Can America really be great again? This is what we will soon find out!"

"While Trump wants to make America great again, we have to ask ourselves, 'What made America great in the first place?'" the article continues. "The short answer to that is simple. America was great not because of what our forefathers did — but because of who our forefathers were.

America was founded as a White Christian Republic. And as a White Christian Republic it became great."

Reached by phone, Robb told The Washington Post that while the paper wasn't officially endorsing Trump, the article signaled the publication's enthusiastic support for his candidacy.

There was a recent study that found that 72% of Trump supporters think that America was better in the 1950s than it is now. These are the things America had in the 1950s that it doesn't have now:

Separate COLORED bathrooms for desis and other people of color to use
Abortion was illegal in large parts of the country
Women were relegated to the lowest rungs of the corporate ladder
Interracial marriage was against the law in many states
White children went to separate schools from colored (yes, including desi) children

So yeah, make America great again!

and then a president named anti-trump changed all that and made america what it is today.
come on. contrary to the common thinking, the president is not all that powerful. one president will not make that much difference and nullify all the progress made.

Ok, so this microminority kkk's newspaper publishes an article supporting Trump and wapo, the mouth piece of the Clintons grabs the opportunity to paint trump and his supporters as bigots by giving extreme importance to that article and reporting it in its newspaper (saw similar things in india too. some weird godman makes some statements supporting modi + some controversial statements and the leftist media never misses an opportunity to report it in an attempt to malign modi).
Anyway, the resident Trump trasher doesn't want to miss another opportunity to trash trump. So she posts it here, and copy pastes only the inflammatory paragraphs in the article and totally ignoring what the Trump camp said about it. Here is the missing para:

Let me see, 1950s is 65 years ago. One has to be at least a young adult during that time to compare that era to this era. So one has to be around 85 yrs old (looks like 75% of Trump supporters are above 85. LOL!!). Ask any 80-85 yr old in India which era they like and they would undoubtedly say, 'those were the days!! that was the best!' That doesn't mean that they support 'Kanyasulkam' or 'sati', or oppose widow remarriages or support child marriages, etc which were the norm during that time.

It's a great attempt of yours to paint trump voters as some kind of despicables. Who are the sinister hate mongers here again?

My copy paste was as-is and has the next paragraph starting with 'Reached by phone...'. The trump campaign response para was edited in between later. If I break the paras I am copying I add dots in between.

I do condemn drawing any kinds parallels between Modi and RSS with Trump and KKK. There is no comparison between RSS and KKK, or between the two countries' treatments of them. Modi never said he will kick out all muslims. He was a dedicated activist and politician before he became PM. And he was never divisive himself in his campaign (or later), irrespective of what the media said. Trump has said enough things about Mexicans and muslims in his recorded rallies, and about his genetic supremacy to give a fair idea of his views and promotion of racism and division. From the same article, he had to be almost forced to disavow kkk earlier this year. He kicked out a black supporter thinking he was a protestor. And the chants of 'Jew s a' against reporters is increasing in his rallies. Conway is doing her best to tone it down but it speaks volumes about what trump and his supporters think.
