this scene is not completely imaginary. it is well documented that in his younger days Akbar had this strange hobby of taming wild elephants.

No Jallikattu with a mouse or lizards? We also know Mughals did Jallikattu with Hindus and women.

Didn't he also score 'holes in one' several times in golf games when he was merely a teenager? Is this important info. added to his bio on Wiki yet or not?

i can only imagine that this hostility towards Akbar is springing from a communal mindset. i will therefore be posting more posts about Akbar to reduce communalism in this forum.

At the age of 54, Akbar was happily participating in Jallikattu. It is recorded that a 54 year old Akbar had grabbed a wild bull by its horns and was promptly gored on his balls. Following which his confidante, the courtier-historian Abul Fazal was assigned the delicate task of rubbing medicinal balm on Akbar's injury. Akbar made a complete recovery from the injury.
