We remain, Madamji, ever at your feet

The Hindu decides such extreme obsequiousness is not fitting and proper on its hallowed front page, but it fits fine enough on other pages. In the words of its Editor: “To all those who messaged me about the atrocious front page ad in The Hindu’s Delhi edition on Jan 1, my view as Editor is that this sort of crass commercialisation compromises the image and reputation of my newspaper,” said Mr. Varadarajan. “We are putting in place a policy to ensure the front page is not used for this sort of an ad again.”
I wonder if the newspaper didn't have any worthy news to publish on its front page, at least nothing worthier than the eternal location
of H. Vasanthakumar.

The Brits have really done a great job on the Desis when it comes to developing their slave mentality.

Actually it started even earlier with MGR, just did not get the attention until Jaya came into the picture.
It is just the Indian mindset. The Naarthies touch EVERYONE's feet - as long the person is older and known. Southies - who will not even fall at parents feet - now fall at even strangers' feet.

May be a little off the topic, but I would never ever vote for a guy who says that he would remind at somebody's feet forever.
