Someone should send this article to Khzir Khan, the Pakistani guy who asked Donald Trump whether he had read the U.S. constitution.
Khzir Khan should first go back to Pakistan and get the Pakistani constitution amended to treat Ahmadis as equal citizens.

Khizr Khan is an American citizen whose son made the ultimate sacrifice for the United States. His primary concern therefore is in preserving what his son died defending.

That is a highly Sikular copout.MaxEntropy_Man wrote:Khizr Khan is an American citizen whose son made the ultimate sacrifice for the United States. His primary concern therefore is in preserving what his son died defending.
There is nothing wrong in asking Mr. Khan what he thinks of Pakis declaring Ahmadiyas non-Muslim.
I wonder what he is doing after Trump got elected. Hmm......

Shyam Sundar was not asking Mr Khan anything. He wanted Mr Khan, an American citizen, to go back to Pakistan and get their constitution amended. All because Mr Khan had the temerity to confront Mr Sundar's favorite Presidential candidate.
This is no different from the loutish "go back to wherever you came from" line that you find so offensive and intimidating when said to you in the subway or on the streets. And yet, you're happy to go along with the same line when used against someone else as long as it is a Muslim. How dumb and shortsighted can you NRI Patriots get?

Asking Mr. Khan to go back to PakiSatan is unfair. I agree. However, there is nothing wrong in asking for his views on Ahmadiyas. As you well know, they are not treated well in PakiSatan.Merlot Daruwala wrote:Vakavaka Pakapaka wrote:That is a highly Sikular copout.MaxEntropy_Man wrote:Khizr Khan is an American citizen whose son made the ultimate sacrifice for the United States. Many young men in the past from countries which were officially American allies (e.g. Pakistan etc.) used to declare their intention to join the U.S. military (army especially) after arriving in the U.S. on student visa and that would help them in getting the U.S. green card and citizenship. Their joining the U.S. military and fighting in American wars overseas thus had more than one objective.MaxEntropy_Man wrote:Khizr Khan is an American citizen whose son made the ultimate sacrifice for the United States. Who is Ahmad? A cousin of Mohammad?

No. He comes from Punjab. His mistake was to claim that he was a prophet. In Islam, Dr. PBUH was the last prophet and if any person claims to be a prophet, he is committing blasphemy. So, Ahmad's followers are being harassed and killed by the pieceful in PakiSatan.silvermani wrote:Who is Ahmad? A cousin of Mohammad?

Of course. Before you get to it, ask yourself your views on Dalits in India. As you well know, but will deny vehemently, they are not treated well in India.

When are you joining BSP? Ugly Maya is losing steam. Just imagine being the leader of that party - Maya made 100's of crores and none in the country is able to question her. You may be highly Sikular, but don't make the mistake of joining CONmen. Looks like neither Dalits nor Monomaniacs are interested in voting for them.
