nice ones... i mean i only know the hindi ones. 

i remember being very impressed after watching ek duje ke liye. i remembered some of the tamil words he was singing in the songs, and came home to pester my mom's keralite employee to translate to me what they meant. she kept saying it's in Tamil, so she didn't know what it means, and i kept saying, 'what nonsense, you both are South Indians and the two sound the same to me, how can you not know the words'. at one point i climbed on her lap and had my face in her face asking and insisting, and i still remember her backing her head back and laughing - no no no, it's a different language, I speak malayalam, that's tamil... finally i had to believe her.

edit: in my defense, i was only 7 at the time.
