I'm sure this will make some folks jump up and down in joy. It is not surprising though, there is a saying in Telugu which literally means Ships will turn into bullock carts and vice versa.

Why is this even on the news?

So what if she is poverty stricken?

What did she do to deserve this pension of 6000 rupees a month?

This six thousand rupees is from the taxes paid by the Indian citizens.

Majority of them are poor who work very hard for a living.

Is she more equal than the others under the Indian constitution?
