CNN has axed another contributor after their criticism of President Trump went too far. The network announced Friday it has severed ties with author and religious scholar Reza Aslan, the host of the documentary series Believer. Aslan attacked Trump in a series of tweets last week following the London attacks, calling Trump a “piece of s–t,” “an embarrassment to humankind” and “a man baby.” He later apologized, saying, “I lost my cool and responded to him in a derogatory fashion. That’s not like me… I apologize for my choice of words.”

I have to say I don't like this guy either. He found the weirdest corner of Hinduism and presented it as if it's mainstream. Very disingenuous. There's something fundamentally slimey about him; dishonest.

I saw some of Reza Aslan's believers episodes. His dramatizations don't have too much meat in them. He may also be misleading the uninformed. However, he is not as bad as Aurangazeb's sishya.......

As long as this guy was bitching and badmouthing about others, everything seemed okay and acceptable to Americans under the freedom of speech. But one swipe (just a few harsh words) by him on one of their own, he is gone along with his nutty show / program.
