I think this is a leak from the administration to force a resignation from Sessions giving them a straight path to firing Mueller.

Mueller is going to take his time and it probably is going to take a very long time as these investigations usually do. However, if Trump fires Mueller this may actually end faster. For all intents and purposes it is an admission of guilt, and the political firestorm it unleashes will force the GOP congress to take a stance on impeachment. They may not impeach, but at least we'll know when the rubber meets the road what they will actually do. For now, they are happily putting off such discussions as hypothetical. Mueller's firing is going to force them out of their defensive crouches. So in a strange way, I am actually wishing for Mueller's firing.

I really hope they seek the highest possible punishment against the man named after two traitors, just like he advocates.

Talking about admissions of guilt, the predisent is tweeting about his "complete power to pardon." Here is what the Supreme Court has said about pardons:

There are substantial differences between legislative immunity and a pardon; the latter carries an imputation of guilt and acceptance of a confession of it, while the former is noncommittal, and tantamount to silence of the witness.

Leper tweeted this morning:

"So many people are asking why isn't the A.G. or Special Council looking at the many Hillary Clinton or Comey crimes. 33,000 e-mails deleted?"

This is a rather odd question. He has no direct control over Mueller's investigation, but he can certainly order his own AG to look into "Hillary or Comey crimes," whatever they may be. So the question is, why isn't he doing so, instead of tweeting about it?

Oh and btw, Mr.President, it's Special Counsel, not Council.

During the campaign, he knew that the president can order his AG to start an investigation. He even said he would direct his AG to appoint a special prosecutor to look into Clinton's situation. This is one more empty threat/promise. He knows that whining about Clinton is better for his image among his idiotic supporters than actually taking any action against Clinton.
