USD 6 million required to establish a Tamil Chair at Harvard Univ. We have collected money from Tamils around the world to a little over 3 million.

Indian gov could easily contribute this. Note India spends multi-fold for Hindi chairs, scholarship etc at foreign universities. Also multi-million dollars spent on Sanskrit.

Indologist David Shulman,"Tamil is one of the world's major languages, and the only South Asian language to have evolved continuously from a very ancient past while remaining a living contemporary language spoken by tens of millions of people. Its literary tradition is among the nest in human civilisation, encompassing marvellous love poetry, epic, philosophical texts, reflexive sciences of grammar, logic, and poetics, historiography, and an enormous religious literature."

Hindians would love to see Tamil destroyed.
