Veteran Bollywood actor and producer Shashi Kapoor has died aged 79.
Kapoor, who acted in huge hits like Deewar and Kabhie Kabhie, had been ill for some time and was in hospital.
He was a member of the Kapoor dynasty which has dominated the Hindi film industry for decades.
He won several national film awards and was conferred the civilian honour Padma Bhushan by the Indian government in 2011. He also acted in several British and American films.

Really a huge loss in the Bollywood movie industry with the passing away of Shashi Kapoor. A great romantic hero in many Hindi films during 1960s-80s. May his soul rest in peace. Btw, he was not the father of actor Shahid Kapoor.

his sons are Kunal Kapoor (*swoon* - ahista ahista) and Karan Kapoor (*swoon* x 10 - Bombay dyeing). Daughter Sanjana Kapoor (pretty but only 1-2 movies I think).

Shashi Kapoor produced quite a few arthouse films. Utsav, 36 Chowranghee Lane, Junooon are among the most notable.

access alright but with all that fat belly, from early on, gravity takes its toll - so he could have excelled in giving.

dunno about MGR, though he had access to many more, across all ages -particularly Saroja devi, and that is in view of your penchant for tails. It's like she walking a dog, you see her first, a pause and then the tail follows for a while.
