'Barsaat ki Raat' ('a rainy-season night', 1960 movie) was a great musical (Bharat Bhushan and Madhubala as leading stars) with excellent lyrics for several songs by Sahir and the music by Roshan. Here is one of the songs /qawalis from this movie (with English subtitles),

Here is another brilliant collaborative effort between lyricist Sahir and music director Roshan in the voices of Asha & party in the song "nigahein milane ko ji chahta hai" from the movie 'dil hi to hai' (starring Nutan et al.),
