Delhi cops find ‘sticky bomb’ in game?

NEW DELHI: On Tuesday, police commissioner
B K Gupta told reporters he had spent hours researching sticky bombs.
Officers then distributed printouts which ostensibly explained what a sticky bomb is.

The printout stated, "Sticky bombs are a type of explosives crafted
from one Bomb and 5 Gel. At point blank range, it can cause a total of
100 damage to mobs and 200 to the player". It also listed 'Statistics'
as: Damage 100, Max Stack 50, Shoot Speed 5, Use Time 24, Sell 1.

These seem unusual ingredients for making a bomb. A net search showed
the matter seemed to have been downloaded from Terraria Wiki, used by
gamers who play online game Terraria.

could be from anywhere. gupta is a rather ubiquitous NI surname. could be from bihar/UP/raj/MP/even-WB/anywhere. i used to know the previous CP, dadwal, though. he was one gentleman! "know" as in a common friend arranged for a few meetings with him. i don't think i want to meet this dunce head gupta. he thinks a sticky bomb is made of 1 bomb and 5 gel! hair gel?

read the whole thing. it can cause a total of 100 damage to mobs and 200 to the player. he or his office has unknowingly lifted this from a multiplayer game called terraria. in any case, a magnet was used to attach the bomb in the diplomat-case and i now understand that these magnet type of sticky bombs are very popular in iraq and surrounding.

that just like gupta is a generic enough surname, spread across mp/up/raj/bihar/basically all NI states and maybe SI states, with time mahalingam will also become generic enough. There will be black/white/yellow/brown/combo Mahalingams everywhere. Also...

we are trying to understand the socio/genetic conditions which germinated this particular breed of genius and subsequently chart the evolution of the breed, both historically and regionally.
