The reservation sham: 17 castes want reservation in Haryana

CHANDIGARH: In the mid of Jat agitation, 17 castes have given their representations to the State Backward Classes Commission, which is evaluating the claims of different communities to include or exclude them in the OBC list.

Haryana's parliamentary affairs minister, Randeep Singh Surjewala on Wednesday disclosed that the commission is considering the claims of 17 different communities including Jats, Rods, Punjabi, Jat Sikh, Brahmins and all should wait for the commission's report.

Even Ambedkar may not have thunk that one day people will FIGHT for getting themselves included in the OBC/SC/ST lists.

In my view, the entire population of the country is backward - as Chappell Guruji stated. Include the entire population and all CASTES in the backward list.

I think they should kind of rotate the backwardness. For ten years SC/ST/BC/OBC/Muslim/Christian and assorted other should be pampered with backward status/reservations/priveleges, etc. For the next ten years, it's Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, etc.'s turn. For the next round they should shorten the period to 8 years each.., and then six years,.. and so on. In 60 years, everybody will be on par, and the road to that 60th year will be equitable to all also.

They can decide who goes first in this cycle with a toss of a coin by a 3-yr old toddler.

This rotation business will fail. In India, once you make something into a law (involving caste) you can never sunset it or change it.

How many times, CMs have successfully rotated as agreed upon in coalition govts - in UP or in Karnataka or even at the center.

So, my solution is the bestest solution.
