Again! and yet again!!

He is relieved but India is again back to where they were in the triagular series in OZ - depending on SL to beat Oz. Now again SL has to beat BD for India to get into finals. Wish BD beats SL and shows India the door.

On a related note, Mahela's comment about fine on his match fee - "If I get paid I won't mind giving them 10%. LOL." Great stuff and speaks volumes about the state of SL board. He should become a politician.

Go $kar, until your son comes to Ranji trophy you should keep playing. Go for 125 centuries. Nobody in BCCI has guts to touch you (or your bat)

Ranji Trophy ? he knows that won't do the trick. Look at Rohan, Anirudha, Arjun... TenDucker should go for 150 until his son plays in the Indian XI.

$kar played at snail's pace and that cost India not only the match but a place in the finals. Do the selectors have the guts to drop him?

even if he had played with the strike rate of 85, it would have added no more than 12 runs to the total. a strike rate of 85 is good for an opener in ODIs. why, even kohli played with the strike rate of 80 (although he consumed less balls).

dinda, r ashwin or pathan would have obliged by bowling juicy full tosses for those 12 runs. we lost because our bowling is pathetic. i say, selectors themselves should be dropped for selecting such a toothless bowling attack. 33 off 3 can be defended. but pathan unkil bowled two dollies in a row. that's where it was lost.
