just realized that. maybe i can blame all these fires at work on that!!

For us, Friday is Mahalakshmi's Day. We welcome cash on Fridays, but lament if it leaves our hand on that day (checks and money orders are okay - only cash is the problem:-)
Also for us, 13 or trayodashi is also a good tithi (as opposed to shashThi (6), ashTami (
, chaturdashi (14), amavaashya (0) , chaviti (4).
Greeks call it -- paraskevi dekatria phobia (Friday 13 fear)
The Latin expression may look like it's slightly off-color ----- frigga trikadekaphobia
Urdu (made up) --------- dar-e-jumma (because that's the day for suicide bombs).

If you had left out a "n" in the end, then that yawn would have had 13 letters as well.

CPM split from CPI - nationwide. TC was formed by a single individual unable to get along with local Bengal Congress Mafia.
CPM has a presence across the nation. TC will never spread outside Bengal.
TC, TDP, BSP, DMK, ADMK, Akali Dal are all powerful state parties that can easily form a 3rd front. Just add the numbers - will scare both Congress and BJP. Their only solace, none of these leaders can get along with one another.
