Admin - Friends and Foes issue

Hi,

Is it possible to add users to my foe list without asking for their approval so I don't see their posts. Apparantly when I add someone to my foe list, a request is sent to the user to accept (or deny) my offer to add them to foe list.

It makes sense when we are talking about adding as a friend. But to have their permission to add to foe makes no sense.

Can something be done to change that?

If I'm not the one in the foes list and you can read this post:

This is incorrect. I added someone to my foes list and it didn't require their permission.

Now instead of their post, I see a placeholder which I can click to see their post.

i tried to add sm1 too but i got a msg saying request pending.
i didnt want that person to know i added so i withdrew my offer. guess the foe thing works even if the request is pending hmmm...will try

Seven, is this working? My understanding is that adding foes should not require approval.

not yet, carvaka. i still see the posts and the status on my profile says request pending.

You must be doing something wrong. I successfully added another foe to test and then deleted it. I didn't get prompted for anything. It was real-time.

Once I added the person as a foe, I started seeing placeholder instead of their posts. I could see their posts if I wished too (if I clicked on the placeholder).

She has foe'd me since yesterday yet she kept replying to my posts all day! So don't despair. You may still get full value out of your front row seat :-)
