Wow. Will she still get into school? Besides what were they doing on the dealership if not for buying, and why did the mom refuse to sign the co lease? She did change her mind last minute?

And not like she picked out moms pistol, it was STOLEN. AND there were drugs too.

If after all this the girl got into ivy league with scholarship. What all can she do w/o a criminal mind. Sad.

===> I bet a lot of kids in every Ivy League school is like her. It is just that they were lucky they did not have an incidents like this before they got into the prestigious college of their choce.

Kids do a lot of silly and mischevous pranks (In amerika they play with guns). All that an application asks is whether the applicant has been arrested, convicted, etc...with the usual response NO.

The school can withdraw her admission only if they can prove that she had lied on the application. Also, if she sought deferment, they can deny that. Remember Kavya - don't think she was fired.

But, in any case, she is screwed for now. Has a long way to go to recover her image. In this country, people area willing to give a second chance - especially, anything done during the teenage or 20+ years. It is not likely to hurt her in the long run -also bcz most teenagers change during the 4 years.
