watched the final two episodes of house. will miss the ornery doc. wonder what laurie's next project is. the show ran eight seasons pretty much on the strength of his talent.

the writers of the episodes are also amazing. And yeah, hugh laurie is delightful to watch. He's also got the most awesome voice.

he's got many other sides. i've been a huge fan for more than a decade since his original a bit of fry and laurie, black adder, and jeeves and wooster televising by the bbc.

watch parts 2, 3 & 4 as well all available on youtube. it's a trip down south following the delta blues and he tells the history of the music while he is having a total blast. very nicely done. and i'm completely with him about his rapturous reaction to the blues. outside of indian music, i listen to western classical music and a bit of opera, but nothing gets into my bones and makes me laugh and cry like the blues. it's amazing music. blues for the soul and jazz for my brain.
