Did not read the news. But after Jagan reddy's win one thing is clear.

Everyrone knows the politicians and Swamys are criminal looters, but by jailing them they are elevated to the status of a glorious damn-god.

Galli is the next Sonia of Karnataka.

One cannot remain inactive and become impotent because of some negative consequences for a short while. The exposure of looting and standing up to them is necessary. It won't be easy and it is not as simple as shown in movies. They will be long drawn struggles with multitudes of twists.

Many of these looters will disappear from the scene in 5 to 10 years. Jagan could be an exception.

Only to be replaced by a group of the worse type - likely to be the kids of the present-day looters.

That I cannot but agree. That happens to be the story of modern India. As more wealth is generated, more dangerous criminals emerged. Frankly these criminal/politicos are likely to become a much much more difficult threat to India than terrorism. Laloo's Bihar may look like an evening troll in a park in future. Weak and un coordinated 'Anti corruption' movements like Anna's are no match for these well organized, well funded brutal local tyrants.
