Yes, the peril is that 10% of patients had appointments and non-urgent care canceled during a one-day strike. In our system, more than 10% don't even have access to care because they are uninsured.

How much do you know about the NHS?

It took them 2 weeks to diagnose a simple case of mononucleosis while they finished running tests for among other things, leukemia. And this was for an employee of the NHS. And this is just an anecdote. It is inefficiency at its worst.

Must have been an Indian MBBS, who passed with 7 marks in Infectious disease module in his 3rd attempt, failing to diagnose a simple mononucleosis.
