Wall Street Journal reports that Defense Secretary Robert Gates said "some Pakistani officials" knew about bin Laden. I guess the junior-most chaprasi in the Ministry of Minority Affairs knew nothing about where bin Laden was hiding, so Gates is technically correct. Only "some" Pakistani officials knew about bin Laden's extended vacation near the Pakistan Military Academy. Not all of them knew, so it's all right I guess.
