Thede guys have a financial incentive and political motive to indulge in that kind of polemics. The sad part is that 10% or 30% of american citizens who buy into this logic are following thier direction. Tea party threat to bring back health care fight is not likely to have the same impact. More noise less votes.

he has done something far more important in the larger scheme of things for conservatives, but they don't realize it because not many of these folks are principled cons but just plain old garden variety haters. he has severely limited the application of the commerce clause, i.e. congress cannot regulate commercial inactivity thus restricting the powers of congress when it comes to individual personal decisions. one of would think true conservatives of a libertarian bent would applaud this, but their hatred for obama and the dems blinds them from seeing this.

Well...if they can only wait another 50 years, their wish will be fulfilled - except that the clock will be turned back much earlier with Texas becoming part of Mexico (again).
