K'nidhi is worried! Empty K'nidhi is worried!

Post by Vakavaka Pakapaka Tue Sep 18, 2012 10:53 pm

Now that Mamata has pulled the plug on UPA-2 (at least until Friday), Mulayam and Maya are busy trying to cash in on CONwallah's misery. Mulayam is frantically calling other political "leaders" to get a pulse of what they are thinking. He is checking to see if he can make a few crores (for keeping CONs in power), get a few ministries, increase his tally if there are mid-term elections, AND if he can cobble together a coalition and get an invitation from Pranab to form a govt under his leadership. Maya may not be that far behind.

These days, DMK is unable to cash in on such situations. K'nidhi must be envious of Maya and Mulayam. So, he is trying to enhance his chances of making some money - he is participating in "Bharat bandh" against FDI (giving $$$$$hints to CONwallahs that they can't take his party's support for granted)!

Mamata must be wondering why the corrupt always get the rewards while the honest get kicked in the teeth. I wonder what Mulayam and his son were thinking when they were talking to her recently. They must be giggling today.

This mamata character is a strange person. Even if upa falls from power there is no alternative.
Just when mms showed some backbone, reality steps in to kill forward momentum.
I think congress should stay course and opt fornmidterm. May be they can pick few more seats.

MMS doesn't have the political acumen needed to take timely decisions. His success as financial minister was due to the political cover and leadership that PVN provided. CONs won't be able to bring economic reform with type of coalition they lead. In fact, no coalition govt. (UPA, NDA, 3rd front, etc.) can bring in progressive reforms at this time. It is a shame, indeed.
