All coz of past rivalry... This happens here too. Have always heard stuff about citi and this is another example.

It is not a corporate ladder but rather a corporate Pyramid. The guy at the top needs to keep watching in 4 or more directions below him.

In any case, his performance is bad and CITI status and performance is way down, and it is not even as good as BoA in crookery.

the chairman oniell's gonna land in hot water with the SEC over this. apparently this boardroom subterfuge breaks some rules for which they could be fined heftily.

uppili, you dont have the first clue about what vikram did or didnt do at citi, so do what you never do and shut up abt things you dont know anything abt.

Pandit 's pay was rejected few months ago. May be that was anearlyindicator of things to come.
Is this oneil related sandy who was citi 's chairman in 80s?

yeah rite. As one goes up it is all politics - including racism.

You better believe it. It is all the more important that you keep building allies, while nurturing all the networks. He should have seen the flag when O Neill was TRYING to become the Chairman. Even better, when he became CEO, he should have realized the losing O Neil will regroup to come at him.

He should have learnt that art from Mulayam and MK, and worked overtime to get rid of his competitors FIRST. He would have then got rid of ONeil.
