It appears that Pakistan desperately wants a MMS visit ?

What is going on ? Any possible clues ?

Possibilities
a) Some link to Afghan situation to given them leverage in their discussions with US.
b) Given the Thimpu history, they want to again exploit the naivete shown by MMS and feel that MMS can be conned to
give things to them on a platter (Siachen/Sir Creek/Kashmir etc..).
They know they are unlikely to get another PM who is as naive as MMS, to give them everything without suspecting
their ulterior motives, and literally without anything in return.
c) They feel a visit by MMS will absolve them for their crimes against Indian humanity
(two bomb attacks in Afghan consulate, Mumbai terror attacks, routine unprovoked attacks on BSF and numerous others)

Their reasons are quite comical, it seems folks in the village where MMS was born are desperate to meet MMS.

BTW found an interesting website for the Pakistani perspective of their history and where they think Pakistan is headed

Hmm.... Looks like one of our brilliant CH scholars wrote the article on "Rupeenews". It was, however, true that Jinnah argued that Congress party (the original one, not Indira's CON party) wanted to create a Hindu rashtra through democracy. It turns out that CON(I) depends on vote-banks that are unhappy with Hinduism to win elections while BJP loses elections harping about Hindutva!
