Considering some people claim that there are a number of genetic similarities between NIs and Europeans, this finding about Gypsies might imply that many people in Europe could have descended from Indians who probably travelled to Europe even before the "Gypsies" left India to go to Europe.

Seva, what about the Aryan migration theory into India? I read in history books that Aryans migrated into India from a region around the Caspian Sea.

Rashmun, my take on this topic is already blogged as "About the origins of Vedas and Sanskrit (including Aryan Invasion Theory)” (http://rivr.sulekha.com/about-the-origins-of-vedas-and-sanskrit-including-aryan-invasion-theory_591513_blog). On this site, it is https://such.forumotion.com/t9095-timeline-for-the-vedas

seva,
what about the caste system? any scholarly blogs on caste system in hinduism, how caste was not a big deal in india and why reservations are wrong? have you published any blogs on the topic? can you reposts them in their entirety? there's no point in writing pages of stuff if it's not x-posted 48 times.

thank you.

Propa, what is your take on caste based reservations? Are you opposed to caste based reservations, or in favor of them? Also, is it your contention that caste based reservations continue to be implemented indefinitely as per what someone on this forum was arguing earlier; or do you think they should cease to be implemented after some specific period of time ?
