Sully

Yep, that's the name of the insect that jumped out of my clementine as I peeled it, onto my laptop.
'He' is currently under investigation. For the rest of his life, he is the hostage of a curious 14-year-old. To make it 'easy' for him, he has been placed back into the 'habitat' he was found in. i.e. another clementine.
PS:
after a little bit of indecision, I eventually decided to continue eating the clementine. I am just watching out of possible live siblings of Sully.

Did he make a particularly impressive landing on challenging terrain? Is that why you call him Sully?

Not me. Kids love naming every living and/or moving thing. (even our cars have names). She named him Bob first, coz of its little bobby red head. But she changed it to Sully, coz he sullied my clementine eating experience. (on the side, happy she's doing her vocab words). Oh, and now they are BFFs. His 'music' video is under production right now.

me: no, I grew up around many bugs, I have no fascination for them.
