Plans for Retirement - Location

What are your plans for retirement? Stay abroad, Return to India, Snowbirding, Nomadic, Opportunistic, Bucketlist-driven, ....

Once kids are older I might begin snowbirding. But really depends on who all will remain there to go home to.

The ideal plan would be to come- full circle and retire in India..live in a nice home..close to a beach..and visit the US at least once a year..as long as one's health is good (which is exactly what my parents did and it was their plan after living for almost three decades in the US).
But..my life is entirely based on surprises and uncertainty..and as someone said.."life happens when you are making plans" (since day 1 of arriving on Earth!)..have no idea what I would be doing next month or year!
It's actually not a bad thing..the thing about sometimes taking it one day or one week at a time!

Just saw this as an option "Sequence of Pilgrimages"..that is amusing.
Visiting this forum is like a pilgrimage..a divine experience- my faith is renewed:)
Visiting Prince DUT Garu's harem in Southeast Asia (as a guest only, of course)..is more likely than that option!

If I win a big jackpot I will roam around the world and live at all the interesting places for a few months at a time, keeping nj as my base. Heck, why not.

My decisions to retire there is entirely dependent on Mecca's distribution policies and also on promised genuine 24 caret virgins.
