a cause for cheer!

it was envisaged and started under NDA leadership and was 80% complete when NDA got dislodged. much of the 20% left was in laloo's bihar. under nitish, bihar has been completed. only portions in odhisa and west bengal now remain. in west bengal, a bridge across river rupnarayan (a good source of ilish btw) remains, that, for the last 14 years, i have been observing is only 30% complete. i ply that route often.

Now the next phase of the project will start - setting up of tea stalls, Dhaba's "rest stations" slums and bicycle lane and "2-way in one" divided highway (brand new concept practiced only in India).

This is a much faster phase to be completed in 10 years.
