What is your simple lifelong wish Empty What is your simple lifelong wish

Post by Marathadi-Saamiyaar Fri Apr 12, 2013 8:07 pm

that you could not fulfill till now.

Mine... I have been scolded by my father to grow up since I was 15 or 16. To this day, I want to spend a day without making a joke and totally serious for a whole day. Just cannot do it till now.

My latest "morning coffee" at my workplace: people take turn to write some philosophical statement on a white board. It is my daily job to read and write a spontaneous quip deriding it. It has become a tradition for all of them to eagerly look at the board to see what I write or will write.

This "funny image" is seriously undermining my "Romeo" status.

may i assure you and your father that, in all the days you've been at sulekha and suCH in the last thirteen or so years, you've never made a joke.

you'll learn a lot about american pronunciation of english words if you think about how this person's lips could take the shape seen above when he says "burn."

That one you should be able to achieve in your life time - when you realize all that materialism still left you unhappy.

my ex (bf, not husband), accuses me of being too materialistic. But i dunno if i really am. I look for basic security and necessities of kids that only money can provide. Other than that, I am not into money. Maybe women think more this way. It's all about security (specially of kids) for them, and much of it comes from money.

I hope so too; but unlike someone, I'm not sure I'd be alive to see myself celebrate 90th birthday Razz

LOL. That was K's dream car, not mine. Ya, I happened to buy it (officially) coz i had better credit score than him, and so I happened to keep it post-div. He went back to, oh god i don't even remember what car he has now. either toyoto or nissan, or maybe honda civic. it's parked in my garage now and is still on my insurance, but i don't remember what it is. he kept downgrading last year.

The Axing came aftter MDX.

Nothing makes me happier when I go by bus/train and walk and see people in all their varied behavior.

Gadgets and cars have made life itself lifeless.

I would like to trade my car for a Porsche 911 gt3, my wife for a younger model, my job for something less stressful and more high paying. Also a 70-80 mil lottery would be nice

Well...may be you should look into Dubai Immigration possibilities as you will achieve all of that in a single stroke.

Funny thing happened. a guy looked at my 150K mile 97 small car and offered to buy that bcz he had 2 other exact same cars with same color for his 2 daughters. He wanted my car for his third daughter.

Of course, I declined since it has another 100K miles left.
