In Rashmun's mind, his mom's rape is a fantasy and not a reality. You see, the moment he accepts that it is a reality, he has to accept that there was some legitimate purpose to Ramdev's demands and actions. That will cause a black hole to appear in his brain and swallow his entire universe. Therefore, he has to make himself a hijda, ignore his mom being raped and imagine that it is all SP's (or Ramdev's) fantasy.
